“Don’t use social media to impress people, use it to impact people”- Dave Willis

Our Volunteers have been influenced by the teachings of intelligent people and go out of their way to help the needy, now also, using social media as a tool.

One of our volunteers, Samaira( 17yrs) has started online marketing for a door-to-door Nails’ salon run by a humble couple. The couple is very good at it’s work but doesn’t have the expertise of using social media as a marketing tool. Our volunteer has taken the onus, she makes videos of their work, uploads new and upcoming trends, creates engaging content, connect with followers and manages the salon’s complete social media. Within 2 months, our young volunteer is able to increase the number of followers from 23 to 576 for their account. The salon’s phone continuously buzzes for appointments. The salon’s business is roaring! The couple is overwhelmed with this gesture of our young volunteer.
Inspired by the above a few more friends of our volunteer have started taking up such projects to help the needy.

Learning from the above trend, our young volunteer, Samaira, has authored a book titled, “FROM LIKES TO LAUNCH: A TEEN’S GUIDE TO BUILDING BUSINESSES ON SOCIAL MEDIA”
She has keen interest in marketing and has interned with many social media marketing companies during her summer vacations. She has taken guidance from her mentors and industry experts to complete this book. She intends to distribute this book to the underprivileged teens and adults, who have access to social media and have big dreams in their eyes of creating their own business, but have no mentor. Samaira is confident that this book shall guide such people to build successful businesses from scratch.

We are proud of our volunteers!
